What songs best describe your main character?

Fragile Chaos is told in dual POV so I have two main characters, but there’s actually one song that I feel represents them both for different reasons: Fight Song by Rachel Platten.

Both Cassia and Theodric have a lot of things they don’t say that haunt them. Their omissions and bottled up anger toward multiple people only make things worse.

With the little power Theodric has left, he sets a massive war into motion—his small spark of power is still able to create an explosion of chaos. Some of his siblings are worried about him but he’s in too deep to end the war now. Theo wants to take his life back. The only way to get it is to fight against the disbelief his siblings have and prove he knows what he’s doing.

For Cassia, it’s been two years since her treasonous brother was arrested for bringing Kisk into the war. When her parents are killed in the bombings, she’s left to learn how to survive in a ruined city. She’s cast out by the other Kiskens and banned from the only real shelter left, yet she believes they’ll welcome her back eventually. When a shocking lie is exposed, it lights a fire inside her. The truth gives Cassia something to fight for.
