I don’t know about you, but I love getting gifts from people. You might call me selfish, but I call it people giving me awesome stuff for free. And I mean who doesn’t? Whenever it’s a holiday, or my birthday I am really excited for GIFTS.
The topic of gifts made me wonder, what are some gifts for bookworms like us? So today I’m talking about gifts that are soo valuable to bibliophiles!
A bookmark
If you know a person who dog-ears GET THEM A FREAKING BOOKMARK! You could be stopping a crime right there, the bookish lords will award you. I love bookmarks because they A) are so pretty and B) helps me track of what page I am. I love showing them off on bookstagram, and to my friends. One of my favorite bookmark makers are LexyOlivia, and littleinklingdesigns
A candle inspired his/her favorite books
A Court of Candles has one the most beautiful candles ever! This will be sure to please anyone, even if they’re not a bibliophile. This is a perfect book gift because who doesn’t want something to smell something marvelous as Nico Di Angelo!
A tote-bag
We bibliophiles need something to carry all our books when we are at the library/bookstore. A bag would be perfect. I would recommend buying from this shop. They sell the most classy, and beautiful things ever. Here is one of their totes.
A poster
A poster show-casing his/her favorite book characters/symbols would be awesome! The best part of this gift is that you can make one of your own, or even print one out if you have no art skill (like me)

We love books, meaning we also hoard books. We’d really appreciate it if you bought a book. Even more if you buy one from our TBR. Actually, the best gift for a bookworm is if you buy our whole TBR. There you go. Best gift in the world.

Um yes, I agree to all these things.. I honestly don’t own enough bookmarks and i don’t own a bookish mug and I REALLY REALLY want one and I could NEVER EVER have enough books. So if people started buying some for me I would be 100% ok with that.

I so want bookish merch like mugs, CANDLES, and like, ahem PILLOWS? Like, THE AESTHETIC HERE? Like the quotes on bookmarks, it doesn’t get any better! WELL IT DOES, because if someone buys me A BOX SET I nearly die, THANK YOU!

Mugs filled with hot chocolate, bookish candles lit up filling the room with a warm aroma, getting on the bed surrounded by pillows with designs from your favorite books, getting ready to read a comfortable fantasy novel… I WISH I WASN’T BROKE!!

OMG THOSE BOOKMARKS ARE SOOOOOO CUTE! Unfortunately I find bookmarks hard to use (I always forget them somewhere) EXCEPT for this really great business card I’m using right now. XD And yaaaaaaaaaaas if you buy me bookish merch, cool. BUT I ESNT THE BOOKS MOST OF ALL.

Bookmarks are the best, tbh. But I get how you feel May, I also lose bookmarks constantly. And it hurts my very SOUL to see them disappear! *put hand on heart* But I just keep on making more. YES, WE ALL KNOW BOOKS ARE FABULOUS PIECES OF WONDER.

What a great post! And I love those bookmarks omg I am totally going to buy one (or 10) for myself now! And I’m not the biggest fan of candles but I’ve seen really pretty bookish-related ones so I’ll totally buy one of those as well! Great post 💜💜
