After getting my hands on this beautiful book, I have found out rather interesting things…

Pros of The Plot 

• Interesting Setting – This book took place in the desert, filled with monsters, shape shifter, and magical beings born out of fire. It was interesting, how the setting had a big impact on the story.
• Plot Twists, Plot Twists, Plot Twists – Me throughout the whole book   

There were these plot twists that I never saw coming. And I see everything. Everything. There were twists everywhere, but it all fit in naturally (surprisingly) except for one (which I will not spoil). And I loved them! I never knew where I was going with  this book, and never knew what was going to happen. I just knew that I had to keep on reading

• ADVENTURE – The turn of events in this novel is great. There was adventure in every corner of this book! This made more fun to read. There wasn’t any dark mood set into the story. When I opened the book, I just knew that this book was worth the 20$.
• Elemental Powers – Any  book that has an Avatar Theme to it is a good book.

Problems of The Plot 

Romance – There wasn’t a lot of romance, and the little bits there was, there wasn’t any chemistry between Amani, and Jin. I found it very annoying.

Amani – 3.5. Her character summed up in one gif

This girl. This girl. I disliked this girl. There were certain parts when I just watch want to punch her in face. Amani is a wild, free-spirited “girl”, that want to get away from her horrible hometown. No not want, need. She is desperate for adventure. Which I totally get. I would also want to get out than have my uncle marry me. But I didn’t like her talent to question everything, and doubt everything.

Jin – 3 stars. He  was okay. I really didn’t find him as a very handsome love interest. In my opinion, he was very overrated

8/10. I love the writing style because it gave the olden aged vibes, and flowed.
