Title: Day 21 (The 100 Book 2)
Author: Kass Morgan
Blurb (GR): No one has set foot on Earth in centuries — until now.
It’s been 21 days since the hundred landed on Earth. They’re the only humans to set foot on the planet in centuries…or so they thought. Facing an unknown enemy, Wells attempts to keep the group together. Clarke strikes out for Mount Weather, in search of other Colonists, while Bellamy is determined to rescue his sister, no matter the cost. And back on the ship, Glass faces an unthinkable choice between the love of her life and life itself.
In this pulse-pounding sequel to Kass Morgan’s The 100, secrets are revealed, beliefs are challenged, and relationships are tested. And the hundred will struggle to survive the only way they can — together.
This book was almost as good as the first book! There was a lot more action, secrets, and more improvements. I’m so glad that the love triangle ended between Clarke, Wells, and Bellamy because that thing was getting old. I’m also happy of the result. And Glass… I still hate her.
It has been 21 days since Clarke, Bellamy, Wells, and the rest of the hundred crash-landed on earth. They found out that other people has survived the nuclear things that has been going on. Those other people want to kill the 100. Sickness had befallen camp, and worrying Clarke. And just when, Bellamy was close to finding his sister, a terrible accident happens.
I still liked the plot, but I still have a problem with it.
This book was not vicious enough. I wanted someone to die. People did die, but they were minor characters that we did not know a lot about. Spoiler Alert (Cover you eyes people): Glass mother dies, but I didn’t like her, so it’s okay. I wanted MORE BLOOD! I know I sound really crazy, but I need someone important to die (namely Glass or Wells). In the show, everyone you know, and grown to love dies! EVERYONE!
This book was way too happy, and therefore, I WAS NOT HAPPY! I was not satisfied with the ending because it’s unrealistic. The chances of Clarke’s parents being alive, and sent to Earth before The 100 is HIGHLY UNLIKELY! We all saw in those flashbacks that they were killed. I don’t want Clarke to reunite with them.
The romance was much better than book 1. For one thing there was no love triangle, and I love Clarke’s and her significant others chemistry. And I can’t wait for them to end up together in the show!
And Glass pathetic situation turned into a not so pathetic situation. It turned into a uh-oh-i’m screwed situation. But because of her brave decision The Colony is coming to Earth!
Clarke – In Book 1 I gave her, a 3 star rating, but I’m changing it to a 3.5 star rating. We got to see, a softer side of her. Which, I guess made her more likable. Other than that, she still is the same.
Bellamy – 4.5 hot smokin stars! I just love this guy… He pretty much remained the same.
Wells – He actually changed. He’s less obsessive about Clarke. I’m just disappointed that it took him so long to figure it out.
8/10 or 3/5. There were still too many places in this book where it’s too fast-paced.
4.5, rounded to 4 stars! I loved the sci-fi aspects of the novel. I recommend this!
